4-speed Bi-directional Model

Picture
The Sheet Press is a laboratory roller press for pressing wet sheets of paper produced on the Dynamic Sheet Former®

A complete paper-making system for the laboratory consists of the ADSF®, Sheet Press and a Sheet Dryer.

CanPa® Sheet Press

The Sheet Press consists of two rollers loaded together. The lower one is rubber covered and driven by a bi-directional electric motor. The upper press roller has a hard rubber surface and is mounted on two independent air pistons to ensure a uniform nip pressure between the rollers. Just as full-size paper machines press the sheet with different nip pressures, the CanPa Sheet Press provides the facility for dual-pressure operation. Each nip pressure is independently adjustable and instantly selectable. The unit has four speed settings. Each speed can be independently adjusted and is instantly selectable by a switch. The press also incorporates an electronic timer which will stop the press roll if the unit is left operating for more than five minutes in one direction.
